Mansfield is 22 minutes north of our Bruner shop on Highway 5, close enough that mobilizing a full-size excavator and dozer to your site is a half-day not a full day, and that savings goes back into the job. Most of our Mansfield site-prep work clusters between the Almartha and Macomb crossroads, where Wright County hardpan starts to give way to the rockier ridges south of town.

The ground around Mansfield reads two ways. East of town, toward Norwood, you get good rolling pasture with clay subsoil: fast cut-and-fill, easy compaction, predictable drainage. West and south, toward Ava, you start hitting limestone shelves a few feet down. We always dig test holes before we quote a Mansfield pad job so you don't get a surprise rock invoice on day three.
