Most of what we do around Nixa is new-build site prep on acreage lots: clearing the building envelope, cutting and shaping the pad, setting grade so water runs away from the house instead of toward it, and backfilling once the foundation is in. Drainage is what ties it together. Grading, ditches, culverts and French drains keep water off the pad, out of the crawlspace, and away from the drive. If a lot already has a wet spot or a washing driveway, we look at where the water comes from before we move any dirt.
