West Plains is 85 minutes southeast of our shop in Bruner, inside the 75 mile radius we work. We run the Howell County corridor as a scheduled trip. The calls from this area are usually for building pads, gravel drives, ponds, forestry mulching, or utility and septic trenching.

On a gravel drive, we walk the route before any rock is ordered. We cut and crown the subgrade so water moves off the drive, then set culverts and side ditches where the ground needs them. Base rock goes down next and gets compacted in lifts. Surface gravel goes on last. That order matters through wet Missouri weather.

Pond work starts with test holes to see whether the site has enough clay to hold water. If it does, we cut a core trench down to it, build the dam in six inch lifts, and shape the spillway and overflow. We also repair leaking ponds and rebuild dams when the original work missed those steps.

To be clear about what we are not: we move dirt and rock. We do not do water damage or mold restoration, and we do not run vacuum truck or septic pumping services.
